As my friends are always willing to tell me, when adequately prodded, I'm a modest man. Sure, the Sun rises to my East and sets to my West, but having a solar system revolve around one is very humbling.
But every now and again, I'd like just a bit of recognition. Nothing to provoke the papparazzi or lawyers; just moving out of my way on the freeway or giving me a seat on the bus is sufficient to sate my glorylust. I'm a semi-simple man with semi-simple pleasures.
Imagine my glee today to find out that the Bay Area Rapid Transit system finally gave me my due. They created a website for me and myBART. I didn't even have to broadly hint!
myBART will let me try my hand at games of chance to win free BART tickets, or tickets to concerts and other entertainment. It also notifies me of events and things that I can do easily within walking distance of a BART station.
Thanks, BART. You're a sweetheart.
